Flash Bug Game
This is a game I created a few years ago after living in an apartment in San Francisco with a minor bedbug infestation. The game is pretty simple… you have to drag the squirming bugs into the bucket of poison.
Interior Skylight Model
My latest project was not an illustration or design, but instead an architectural model! For the project I was asked to create a model of an interior space being redesigned, so that the clients could see what it might look like if they added three skylights above their stairwell and hallway. The results were not as dramatic as one might think, but they greatly improved the light in the previously dark area. These photos show the lighting conditions before and after skylights in this house in Palo Alto at 4 in the afternoon.

Here is a photo of the actual space

Here’s a few more of the model

And here is the exterior of the model on location

the Beautiful Dead Movie Website
My latest project has been implementing the website in Flash for the film The Beautiful Dead. I learned a lot about Flash during this project, and I’m pretty happy with the outcome. I did not design any of the graphics for the site, I was only responsible for creating the interactivity and animations. I was given bitmaps, sounds, and a video, and I turned them into the site you see here:

OBJECT OF THE DAY! Wooden Stapler

Wooden stapler by Decor Craft Inc. I still haven’t stapled anything with it, but I love it anyway. Thanks Josh for getting it for me for my birthday!

Object of the Day: Elephant Watering Can

Watering cans are one of those things that can be horrifically over designed. I like this one. I tried to look it up and find the designer, but I can’t find one, I’d like to know who designed it and when.

Object of the Day: Alessi’s Ship Shape

by Stefano Giovannoni
Everyday I am going to illustrate something new. I am starting with drawing my favorite objects that I own. This should keep me going for a while. I absolutely adore this butter boat… everybody should own one. The steam puff is the handle to the butter knife that is concealed in the stack.
