Renée Lusano was born in San Francisco, California in 1982. She received an undergraduate degree in Architecture at the University of Oregon in 2006. She currently works at Treats HQ, (an online store dedicated almost entirely to parts for vintage mopeds) as adesigner,content manager, and customer service advisor. She is also a freelance illustrator, and has most recently illustrated for Old Navy's toddler department. She has also illustrated for PaperCulture, Ape Do Good Printing, and FluffyCo.

She is currently living in the Bernal Heightsneighborhood of San Francisco, and she spends herfree time cooking,oil painting, cultivating succulents and repairing andriding mopeds.

Renée has two sisters, Noele and Serene. Noele is a photographer and Serene is a graphic designer.
